The Effect of Light on Color

If you are on social media, you probably remember this picture from a few years back.  The question was "is the dress blue and black or white and gold?" (For those of you who missed this little gem, here's a link explaining the phenomenon: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_dress )

It all depends on the light!

If you look at the picture in different lighting you can see how different it looks:

This is why its important to specify what light you want your products matched in!  Something that looks cherry red under one light source might look orange under different conditions.
